Hope is a cure - irresistible cure A bird said the sky is blue Another said it rained Then a third, no complaints I saw in their faces much glamour Then cold eyes, definite weakness But hope is all they had You madam, Western half You talk of freedom and opened cages Hope is it ? for the right cages... Then the butterflies, stupid creatures The kid's cage can be worse And the deliverance brought by the mind Do you think son of man Earth is another Eden ? But hope, only refuge ...
