Searching and Waiting

by Ronald Rand (Gemini) - Not entered

The moon is arising as the light dwindles low,
the wolves howl at the sky's omniscient glow
Their tracks find your scent in the drifts of the snow
and the crows search the sky for a prayer below.

The clouds start to cover the weeping of the moon,
and the lights are on, but it's dark in my room.
The bells, they chime, telling me it'll be time to go soon,
but my circuits hold out on this impending doom.

Cuz' there's one thing I know, like the blood in my veins,
that even though my heart will never be the same,
I know at least nocturnally, my love will not wain,
as long as the sun rises and the clouds carry rain.

Reason for writing:

i know 'omniscient' is used out of context here.. look deeper.
