what I hate and what I love make up the things my life's made of if I did not love or did not hate I'd lose one eye on the world's state but we need two eyes to truly see one sees you and the other me together my eyes unite the world like an untangled web that lays unfurled like a marriage ring each lover shares if one is lost the other despairs for two is bliss in natural law where goodness is balanced by the flaw two me two you we're all the same with everything doubled twice it came up down woman man are the tools to understand so married life it must not fail like bread and butter they can go stale keep things new by seeing two of my me and your you
Reason for writing:
I wrote this poem because I love to hate conformity. I used the theme of two (did you notice?!!) to show that to the side that someone agrees with, there is always at least one other opposing side waiting to be discovered. I had nothing better to do so I started typing, and WHAMMO! I wrote this poem. positivity barely ever flows onto the page for me, so I decided to send it in -write- away! Keep reading and writing, and happy poetry. MikeBirth sign: Not entered
