Eden's Apple Tree

by Oleander, Capricorn - Not entered

A ton of bricks
hit me.
So with it, I built this wall
around me.
And all the people gather to admire
it's masonry.
I explain to them
it's beauty.
How each one is the reward for
my searching.
And beside the wall is Eden's
apple tree.
Naked of truth, while it's fruits
surround me.

Reason for writing:

Searching for the truth can be painful and beautiful.
