Untitled

by Fiona - Virgo - Not entered

I take you hand,
joy streams through mine.
we look in through a window,
searching for shadows only you and I
can see.
We tie up the world around you and we embrace,
but you are no longer human,
you have grown dark and twisted.

Moving backwards, suddenly the earth has sunk
another inch.
It is now a small gravel garden.
I lose focus, do you
Is it minutes, or decades
What is happening to us ?

Has fantasy ceased and reality begun?

I no longer hold you hand.........

Reason for writing:

The reason for this submission ...... I have finally come
to the conclusion that my poetry should be realeased from
the book in which it is held .... and has been for quite some time.
