As I sit here looking in the mirror, I see it all becoming clearer. You have to understand my ways, Or we would be together today. You meant the world to me, I just wish we could of let it be. You always changed my days, Now this is the prize I have to pay. Not having you to hold, When its so very cold. Everything has changed, I just wish everything wasn't so rearranged. I see now you want it this way, Maybe we'll be together another day. It's not as easy as I thought it would be, Not having you near me. I'll let your memory fly away, Maybe you'll come back to me another day. Hopefully my dream will come true, So I wont be left alone & blue.
Reason for writing:
I wrote this poem because I realized that I couldn't have
the guy that I wanted. And that it wasn't that easy to get
over someone you cared so much about. But its over with
now...and now I realize it wasn't that hard
