Alcoholic Night

by Paul Pullen libra - Not entered

The Alcoholic Night--
Inebriating blackness,
With every prolonged sip
Making opaque the once crystal stream
Upon which my raft of conciousness
Is turbulently tossed--
Strange spirits sustain my solitude
As my intoxication intensifies,
Unfettering inhibition--
Come--drink with me--
Let the liquor loosen you--
Together we will taste
The essence of the moonshine--

Reason for writing:

I was lying in bed and I just noticed how
the stillness of the night seems to, in a way,
get you "drunk."
