Ode to Seattle

by D. Stewart - Aries - Not entered

Oh, the splendor of your very being evokes my heart to swell. As I breathe within your bosom I savor the seduction you instill. Our time as one leaves me craving... the moisture of your touch. Submerge me in the taste of you come now, I'm not asking much!Emerald are your eyes by height dramatically tall. Yet reaching down you brush the Sound. Could you be real at all?I'll never know now, I must leave. Beyond the bliss of my dreams I'll be shrouded in grief.Replacing you will be my absurd illusion.

Reason for writing:

I wrote this poem as my husband and I left Seattle. We were moving to the Mid-West.
