Not Untitled, Just Unfinished

by Elliot Casey Virgo - Not entered

I believe it incredibly rude,
to give life to words
that have no name.
Please, I wish not to intrude,
I hope someone understands besides us nerds,
it's like stardom without fame.

To leave a poem untitled is mean,
for the clarity may not sound
but the words will ring true.
Hundreds of these I have seen,
Hey! I've been around,
And so have all of you!

The poem will collect dust and diminish,
like an apple fallen and
never picked up.
Title the poem, give it a finish,
Let not a single word flow through hand,
Make the poem more than a hole in some cup!

Reason for writing:

Tired of looking at poems with "Untitled" as the title.
