This world looks for heroes to worship from afar Yet a hero's life is what the unsung hero lives It may not be an idol, or a modern movie star But it may be a person whose life is what he gives A hero could be the clerk at the local grocery store A mechanic who fixes the car, a school teacher Too often heroes are those from whom we expect more Heroes are common people, that's their best feature A Christian can be a heroe as a warrior in prayer A kind word or two to someone in a time of need A hero is often someone who takes the time to care The person who takjes the time to plant the seed My favorite hero is a man who was hung on a cross Who lived a life of giving, caring, and was full of love His death brought life so we would not suffer loss Jesus is the all time hero, who reigns in Heaven above

As a Christian songwriter and poet, I trty to look at the life of Jesus and make it plain to people that only He can free us .
