Lost World

by Kat (Capricorn) - Not entered

The world of the lost
Without a reason,it left us wondering.
Wondering without a clue
Through terrifying deaths of fire
As if hell was at their bay
Or did they drown?
Gone in the waters of cruel
What did they do?
Why must they die?
Did they commit some awful crime?
We know not
But they drowned on the land they loved
They burned on the land they loved
They suffered for the land they loved
They were all of the land they loved
And they died with the land they loved
With their children in their arms

Reason for writing:

This is about the story of the lost continent of Atlantis. I know that they loved that land more than any other because it was their own. They are much braver than I, for I do think I could willingly give my life to my country, but I am afraid that I will not know until the time comes. I am an American. I love my country more than almost anything.
