Mother May I?

by Donnie Casto/ Capricorn - Not entered

Mother:
You never knew you never will all the torment, torture, the thrill.
I find nothing here I need your thought and skill,
                     Mother may I?
A lack of faith a trail the draws me dry as heathers in the sand.
You gave me the lock now where is the key?
                     Mother may I?
If I've lived 18 years then I'll die 18 more,
                 St.Suicide necklace
                for a few minutes more,
can you hook me up with one last score?
                      Mother may I?
Your my worst friend and best enemy you've never held nothing
on me are you all blind;what can't you see?
                      Mother may I?
You comfort me with shallow word and whip me with willow thorns
a man you made me a soul of a coward and a heart of tears
                       Mother may I?
As my lines skip and beep and slowly fade
you attached the cord now pull it away
will you keep here or let me go away.
                       Mother may I?

Reason for writing:

I'am a bloosming confessional poet who has been blessed to have the great influence of the master confessional poet Sylvia Plath I relate to her life experiences and thus find a common bond in being able to compose the same genre as her!
