Wish

by Starcross - Not entered

I watch the clock,
Hands moving forward,
Slowly becoming tomorrow,
And I wish for you.

I gaze upon the the night sky,
Filling the world with slumber,
Wrapping cool shadows with her moon,
And I wish for you.

I awaken with the smell,
Of the nights dew on Natures bed,
Glistening like a million diamonds,
And I wish for you.

I part my den at night,
greeted only by the coolness,
Of nights dark embrace,
And I wish for you.

Reason for writing:
