*Blessed*

by DRP *Leo* - Not entered

Emerged within the land of white, he forgets the realm of earth,
Replacing all the heartbreak with merriment and mirth.
The moments that had scorched his life, now fade into the past,
Taken to a quite place his peace will ever last.
All the fears that wracked his mind, now vanish without a trace,
Forgetting all the cruelty by the evil human race.

Locked within his padded cell, he forgets the land of gloom,
A prisoner of his own sick mind, and of his guarded room.
For there was a time he was aware, of the craving in his mind,
To end the darkness, cease the pain, destroy the foul mankind.
He saw the truth, he heard the voice and tried to spread its word,
But the others always laughed him off, a lunatic absurd.

Reason for writing:

To see what life-forms higher than myself think of my work.
