Passion

by mary k. taurus - Not entered

Heat slowly creeping,
blossoming,growing
pink turns to red, then to white
rapid breathing, heart beating
eyes closed, images bright and fresh,
the flower opens, vulnerable, yearning
so bright, so fresh, so young
wanting, needing, burning
a hunger that can't be denied
aching, gnawing, painful
tearing the insides apart
flames greedily growing
licking, lapping, consuming,
so thirsty to feed upon you
to savor like fine chocolates,
slowly i reach out,
and touch you.

Reason for writing:
