Mighty Silent Sea

by mary k. taurus - Not entered

The sea whispers soothing music
sighing, soothing sounds
the sea whispers soothing music
sighing, soothing sounds

The sun shines
seagulls soar
the sand sparkles
and seashells shimmer

The waves sway
weathering waves
washing the shore
soothing, lapping

Feathery foam
fine, feathery foam
bubbling bubbles
washing ashore

Swishing, swashing, sparkling
the sea stealthily creeps
the shore silently gives way
to the mighty, silent sea

The sea whispers soothing music
sighing, soothing sounds
the sea whispers soothing music
sighing, soothing sounds.

Reason for writing:

my love of nature, and especially of the ocean, since we don't have one here in arizona
