Paralysis

by mark giarrusso aries - Not entered

Now how can I move?
I know the truth
Temptation burns within me
With all the force of a tempest at sea
It calls with a sweet sound in my ear
The temptation pulls me near
Inches from my face as I turn away
I can feel its breath as i hear it say
"Come and partake of this pleasure"
I say "I cannot if I wish to live forever"
Angrily it shakes me in its clutches
"You want this bad" it whispers as my face it touches
"Mine is only a minor sin", "YES!" I proclaim
"I wish to come but will not for sin is all the same"
"Away from me you devil" I cry
"For you do nothing but lie"
Throwing me to the ground
It disappears for now without a sound

Reason for writing:
