Woke up in the early dawn, as the sun lit up the world. Outside in the fields, the orchestra of nature played for me. Sweet sounds of silence filled my ears. "Can I trust you to keep a secret?" she said. "The world is alive, I can feel it in my hands!" The innocent laughs and smiles were the only things real in this world. She tells me stories and I listen in astonishment, "Animals are humans, only they look different." "Feed one and you'll see." She told me a man lived in the clouds. Alone, so high above the earth, and he takes care of me. "How do you know its a man?" I asked. I played for today in my world. Not knowing the dreamy time drew closer. We jumped and screamed and ran in circles, while the peace of my mother filled my heart. My mother, she watched my and I loved her. Looking up and down, she smiled and I smiled back. Spinning on the ledge, I took her hand. In the summer time, rolling away.
Reason for writing:
I was inspired to write the words of this poem after looking through old pictures of myself when I was a little kidBirth sign: Not entered
