You Are Very Fine To Me

by C. White - Not entered

Sparkling brown eyes that hold a fire like the sun
Soft velvet skin as soft as silk never dare be
A heart of gold that can never be won
By clever words or tales that are quite empty
A beauty that could make a thousand ships sail
A kindness that drives storms away
A beaming smile that cures melancholy without fail
A touch that warms the heart each and every day
A spirit more steadfast than strongest steel
A soul who's depth is of yet not reached
A love that each day every part of me feels
And I hope I never lose oh Lord I beseech

Reason for writing:

I wrote this poem to express how much I value the love that
I share with my girlfriend. She is by far the most amazing
person that I have ever known. This poem doesn't even begin
to do her justice.
