I saw you once standing under a cerulean sky in a field of gold alone. I tried to reach out and touch you but you were gone. I saw you climb a silver staircase higher and higher to nowhere. I long to join you but know I never will. There are flames searing my skin and from those ashes I will rise and return to my cenotaphic home.
