Master Nightmare He holds my heart on a string and swings it before my eyes. Back and forth I watch it float and I am hypnotized. He holds my soul in his hands and squeezes it with passion. Tightly clutching it with force, while watching my reaction. He holds my dreams at bay and does not let them fly. Anchoring them with weights of lead, I watch them slowly die. He has stolen into my dreams in the pitch-black of night, Obscured behind the shadows, he feeds upon my fright. He has trapped me with in his web of mystifying power. Struggling to be set free as minutes turn to hours. His name I do not know, his face I never seen. I call him Master Nightmare, he lives within my dreams.
