My Purple Heaven

by Rosa Lee Aries - Not entered

Waves crashing by the sunset,
Sea gulls gawking over the seaweeds.
Lovers taking their timeless stroll.
There I lie upon the clouds, dreaming.

Where the rainbows touches the ground,
Life carries me through repeatedly,
with my reflections before my eyes,
I remind myself of YOU.

Prancing horses with their prissy masters,
Trotting along on the fast lanes,
Thriving for gold claps by their misses,
White-gloved folks without a shame.

Down the lonely road, I remember,
The flowers spoke into the breeze,
and the twirling words created an image,
with the photographs of you and me.

Memories left tarnished and naked,
No smiling rainbows after the rain.
But this in purple clouds of my heaven,
Represent my happiness and pain.

Together I stand still undefeated,
and a broken heart within.
I woke up once again and remembered,
that you remind me of ME.
