Aimee

by Gwendolyn, Gemini - Not entered

Chubby cherub grins
 and apple pie crust freckles,

 Scintillating squeaks of joy
 mixed with sweet home smells:
powder and soap, shampoo and perfumed air

At once so girlish, so tasty
 then poised, feminine, and maidenly

 A delightful morsel
 as tantalizing, pleasurable and
 addicting as chocolate candies.

Reason for writing:

I wrote this poem trying to capture the true essence of a good friend named Aimee.

I'm submitting it because I like to explore on the internet
