how did i become

by jason terry--virgo - Not entered

Gently my heart weeps
For the memories it keeps
And the tears held inside

Softly my heart sighs
For the solacing suprise
The scent of love has dreadfully died

Oh come within me
And softly silently see
My personal paintings

The sorrow and pain
Lovingly left me insane
Results from what I'm obtaining

Can you hear the silence
Eerie empty no violence
Echoes quietly leave

Can you feel the chilling wind
Howling screaming with no end
The warmth of love cannot relieve

Exit my chamber
Leave with peace, not anger
Here I sit and sit I shall

So now the cry seeps
Love hasn't died but gently weeps
And all I ask is how?

Reason for writing:

As i'm sure with most poems regarding matters of the heart,
it was written after a girl that I care for very much left
me for another guy.
