Golden Summer

by KnowOne - Not entered

The love we had, should never been started
Its my mindless wondering that
lead me into this dark place.
Who would have thought I would find a glowing face.
At first for fun, then it begun.
A downward spiral of emotions,
 being pulled in by you.
I longed for an excuse to hear you voice
I know there was a better choice.
Did I listen? Not till to late.
We had already pasted that gate.
Locked behind us, sealed so tight.
The gate keeper always wins the fight.
No turning back I realize many things.
You and I on a path
So easy to stumble, only support are the
memories of what was taught.
Our destination scared me. Nether of us had ever.
I knew I had to veer the path.
knowing I would feel your wrath.
It was so hard for me to find my way back.
I could only hope that you would follow.
Until then Im filled with sorrow.
The thoughts of you cloud my vision.
For US there is no provision.
You don't keep what you love you set it free.
I don't know if that applies to you or me.
