Frogs on liley pads

Flow gently through my soul
Oh waters of time
Let me spend my hours in dream
While you fill me with pictures
Of what once was
Let reality and illusion
Mix together in my mind
As stories come from pages
Of a book of prose or rhyme
Let me dream of frogs on liley pads
Or ancient temples made of stone
A twisted branch of a Juniper tree
Standing alone on a sea of sand
Bring me to the place of here and there
Where the underscovered becomes the known
Take me to the winding road
Where truth and tales become but one
And illusion and reality
Are no longer soerate from my eyes

Reason for writing:

I wrote this poem because I'm going through really hard times in my life. And I just want to escape it all. And the only way I can do that is to escape reality. So I wrote this poem explaining it all. I also wrote a short piano piece. these are my two windows to unreality . Send me an e-mail of what you think. I don't care if it'd good or bad. I just need outlines on how to improve on my poetry skills. thanks, Summer
