Have you seen me latley?

by Jill Maricich Gemini - Not entered

Have you seen me lately? So lost in my despair
These feelings that torment me, seem afully unfair
I love to watch you saunter, but persue you I will I not
For I do not know your passions, yet I hope they're what I sought
To me you are mysterious, like the vapor in the sky
You always are so quiet, and I can't but help ask why?
To hear those ardent words of love? So craves my soul indeed
I wait not for the sun to rise, but you who doth exceed
Forthwith the day will come, when I welcome your embrace
And all the dejected tears, will fade to another place.

Reason for writing:

I wrote this poem based on the way that people feel when they like that certain person. When you know that you could have everything with each other but there's always something holding one of you back so you just smile, stare, and hope from a distance waiting for that day to come to end all of the what if's and pain.
