I thought you were my friend, But you didn't think me so. I shared all my joys and sorrows, You didn't care to know. You told me all your sad stories, But forgot to tell me the good news!!! Now I realise when it's too late, You just needed a mate, To fool around when you were lonely. And now that you are much higher, The truth dawns on me , The greater the distance in level....... The lesser the love and affection !!!

Someone who I considered a good friend ditched me as he reached a higher level in life. That made me write this poem.
