untitled

by Manda Wallwin Aquarius - Not entered

whispered words
loud enough to hear
(the thinkly masked intent is earth-shatteringly obvious)
transluscent tears
have lost their effect
five months (which is an eternity)
of guilt, of regret of tears and of heartbreak are finished
you know this
you throw it in my face
in some pathetic attempt to gain sympathy
no more games no more manipulation
your fragil mask evaporated long ago
in my mind
all i see now is a sad shell of a person
filled with drugs and psychobabble
saddest yet
i am unable to feel pity for this empty life

Reason for writing:

this was written in attempts to deal with my feelings about a friend's ways of dealing with her depression
