The Broken Rod In My Heart

by Andrea the Capricorn - Not entered

The enemy you made your beloved friend;
Brought a misery to an end.
Crying out as you lost your throne,
Response was but a busy tone
Can’t help but feel the blame,
But it still remains the fucking same!
Is it peace you now feel?
Impossible out here; it wasn’t real.
Observing death in all your love,
Pushing in that final shove.
Can’t help but feel the blame
But it still remains the same!
The spoken words in darkness are true!
There must be a peace in there for you.
Where is my redemption
for the sins of dissension?
Can’t help but to feel the blame
but it still remains the fucking same.
What could have been
Has actually been!
The witness is lifetime,
Callowness is the crime

Reason for writing:

For a friend who is no longer of this physical realm...
