Two Little Girls There they sit frozen in movement. Captured, forever bonded to that moment of time. The embodiment of the sweet tenderness of innocence. They seem so very fragile. The heart aches to think of the dangers life holds for them. Their eyes are so intense on something just out of view . What is it they see........what holds them captured there? One caught in the action of reaching out to the unknown. Driven by a fearless spirit to meet head on what is just out of sight Brave determination is etched on her face. One sits watching, waiting , quietly Held by a stillness of spirit..................... A slight smile of patience rest on her lips. Is It the future they see? Is that why the fearless one tries so hard to move forward into life? Anxious to brave new paths ....... change the injustice she sees. Is that why the other sits quietly seeking understanding? Does she see herself watching the other marching into life's battle, Long auburn hair flashing red ribbons of brightness in the sun. Is that why her hands hold her sister?
