Cold breeze on my hot cheeks Soothing my burning soul Cold air on my bloody arms Stinging me so tenderly Bringing the hurtful relief Cool rain on my fingertips Dampening my hopeful spirit Freezing rain on my face Combining with my salty tears Cold drops on my body Sizzling on my seething mass Cool wind on my heart Freezing my love for you Making me harder than I was before Coldness enveloping me - my deceased body I am finally frozen I am finally dead. Depression smirks fondly. . . Its’ work is now done. Suicide has conquered. And Death my only friend. June 2, 1997
