The Ring

by Luna Aquarius - Not entered

There are many promisies
in this little thing
known as a ring.

Falling like the rays
of the sun,
the faith in one.

Over many the years,
long past are all the tears,
from all the age old fears.

So steadfast he
remained
grounded.

Even when I
may have sounded
many calls of "freedom".

For long lasting marriages
are not a
"walk in the park".

But in truth,
many times,
walks in the dark.

It is in this concept,
of the ring,
that makes it such a precious thing.

Reason for writing:

    My 29th Anniversary is tomorrow.
