Where the Raven flys

by Christina Van Baalen - Not entered

When you see a raven flying near,
Your body becomes frozen in fear.
You can try to run away , but there he shall stand,
Not like God but not like man,
You hide yourself from the sunlights sweat embrace,
From all around you, you hide your face,
But any fool can see ,
The death and pain to all, brought by he.
I know what he is to you,
And I know where he comes from too.
He flys in grave yards at midnight,
 Peacefully evil in his flight.
Where the Raven flys is the secret to your hidden dream,
Though,to some, a nightmare it doth seem.
 He whispers in your ear,
Words that no mortal should hear.
To some his voice is sometimes so sorrowful and brings
 a teer to their eye,
But can also sound like the Banchi's horerific cry.
In your dreams you'll fear for your soul,
For his coming means death shall soon take its toll.
And alone you will stand there,
Incompassed by the graveyards crule midnight air,
But death itself shall not foresaken thee,
For you are the devils tortured foe like me.
And when judgement day comes death's aim shall be true,
And than the Raven shall fly for you.

Reason for writing:

I wrote this poem thinking about a book I'm writting called
" Where the Raven Flys " The book is about the Angel
Gabrial and the devil, Lucifer, and a lost soul. They call
it( the soul ) the Raven because by following the Raven
they can track down the soul. The soul , however as been
reborn in a child ( I'm not saying who ) that they must
find with the help of a vissionary girl who is the Guardian
of the child. There's realy alot more to it, but I guess
you'll just have to read it when its published! !
