Alone in the darkness
Looking at the light
Wanting to move closer
Trying with all your might

You see familiar faces
You want to go and talk
But again there is the darkness
Not letting you walk

The darkness is torture
The light is free of pain
You again try to move closer
But you have made no gain

You scream into the darkness
I want to be in the light
The darkness becomes helpless
The light helps you out of the night
