Transparent

by Jenny A. / Aquarius - Not entered

I don't need to look at you to see right through you.
I don't need to hear your negligent words to know your lying.
I don't need to smell your cologne to know it's cheap.
I don't need to see you alive when inside you're dying.

I don't need a kiss to know it's meaningless.
I don't need pleasure when I know it's your fun.
I don't need an anniversary card to know you forgot.
I don't need a lot when I know it means none.

I don't need your apoligies to know you don't mean it.
I don't need your sorrow when I know you don't give a damn.
I don't need your optimism to know you're a pesimist.
What I do need is your opposite man.
