The darkness is inside everyone. Itis your curiosity, And yet it is your fate. The darkness within is fear, It is your nightmares, And your dreams or fantasies. It is your hate, But it's the source of your sorrow. The darkness is your self-expression, And the consciousness of yourself. It is the center of your questions. The darkness beholds the answer. It is the key to your undoing, And it's the thing that makes you. The darkness can snap you in two, But it is the glue to fix you. The darkness is fear of death, And it's the happiness within being born again. The darkness is the ending, And the beginning of you!
