From a Soc's point of view He was dirtier than dirt But it was Johnny they never knew And it was Johnny that they hurt By killing one of them He endangered all of us But we stood next to him That's just the way we was Greased up so much we could slide As humorous we thought life could be But life was all we could ride Until Johnny made us see Now I am a firm believer That what we did was right Because we're the ones that started That fire in the church one night But now Johnny's gone He's lying six feet into And the Soc's all feel sorry For the Greaser they never knew*
