obscurity

the light is so transparent
i see thru their lies and hypocrisy
the darkness is thick and comforting
i can be whoever i want
to hell with society's standards
they can't reach me here
the darkness covers and protects me
i am safe from all the questions and hateful looks
no one can find me in my cloak of shadows
they will never know the real me
they are stuck in the listlessness of light
while i am happy in my seclusion of obscurity
