The Peaceful Valley

by Eric Hodgson - Not entered

As I walk in the valley I see the hills all around me.
I see and hear the flocks of birds, in the trees, singing their lovely tune.
I don't know where I'm going nor do I care.
I'm just walking in the most peaceful place in the world.
Will I find my way home?
I don't care; I never want to leave this place.
I see the green grass under me,
I feel it as it tickles the bottoms of my feet.
I see a single river, flowing into the distance,
Looking for something, weaving its way through hills and valleys,
In it's never ending search for the ocean.
I know I am like that river, but I'm not searching for the ocean,
I'm searching for something more important my soul mate.
What will happen to me if I don't find My soul mate?
Am I destine to live a lonely life, with no to comfort me,
No one to take care of me when I'm sick,
No one to make me laugh or make me cry.
As I walk around in the peaceful valley
I hear a strange beeping noise that seems to be coming from all around me.
It's quite at first but it starts to grow louder,
I know it will take me away from this peaceful place.
It gets so loud I close my eyes, then there is a flash of light,
As I open my eyes I look around, I see the familiar confines of my room.
I feel so disappointed that I lost my happy place,
But I know that there is no way I could continue my search there.
I have to look in the real world, but I know that if I'm having a hard time,
I can always go to that valley, that peaceful valley,
And I know it will always except me with open arms.

Reason for writing:

i felt like writeing it, i don't know why i write them they just appear in my mind and i put them on paper
