Justice

by Tony & Elsie Phipps - Not entered

The rich man counts his money
While the poor man works and toils
To the rich man goes the bounty
To the poor man goes the spoils

The rich man gathers to him
The things that he counts as gold
The poor man gathers to him
His family, friends and God

In this life the rich man prospered
While the poor man just got by
But tonight their paid a visit
By the Maker, God on high

They both will reap their labors
By the words of God's decree
The rich man gains damnation
The other - Salvation free

Reason for writing:

Just pondering one day and this is what came out. Just thought I'd share it.
