Life

by Bob Jeffries - Not entered

Her essence encircles me,
it nourishes me and she is all I experience.
Her portrait plays upon my mind,
forever dancing across my conscienceness in loving taunt.

I inhale and it is her sweet breath I savor.
I drowse upon tear stained comfort, for the rapture that I feel can be expressed by no other means.
Her presence awakens my vitality and accelerates my heart.

Her gifts can not be appraised,
for she has given me life.
She has saved me from dark despair and loneliness,
she has saved me from myself.
