Letter to M

by J L Rosa - Not entered

In the night, when slumber does begin
Your image, like a thief, sneaks in
You once saved my life
You were to be lover and wife
But we split, and went our seperate ways
To remain friends, but never met the days
And so your image does haunt my dream
Waking up from being so close, I stifle a scream
I never should've left, this mistake I realize
And now all I can do is dream, and forever apologize.

Reason for writing:

In case it isnt too obvious, an ex-girlfriend had problems and broke up.
I'm still crazy for her...
