In the night, when slumber does begin Your image, like a thief, sneaks in You once saved my life You were to be lover and wife But we split, and went our seperate ways To remain friends, but never met the days And so your image does haunt my dream Waking up from being so close, I stifle a scream I never should've left, this mistake I realize And now all I can do is dream, and forever apologize.
