Why is it so hard to say good-bye? I've found I can't say it without having to cry. I think of the times we shared together, I only wish they could've been better. You guys were always there for me, I only wish I could make you see, We'll all be friends for eternity, I hope you won't feel any pity for me. I'll try to hold back my tears, For I have very big fears. To start my life all over again, And try to find some new friends, I'll never find friends quite like you, You guys are the best, you know it's true! You've all helped me along the way, And I can't think of a better way to say, I'll never forget any of you, And I'll always love all of you, And now I know it's alright to cry, Because I have to say good-bye.
Reason for writing:
I wrote this poem when I moved. I was insipered to write this for all of my friends back where I used to live, but am not friends with many of them anymore. Maybe 5 of them. but, I think it is a very good poem, and it comes from the heart.
