True Love

by nayluv taurus - Not entered

You said there was a particular way that true love smelt
You knew of a certain way that real love felt
You claimed I didn't love you and you needed someone real
You needed someone to share with you the way that love should feel
I said I'd never been in love, therefore I didn't know
You said that you would take me if I was willing to go
At first I had doubts but wanted to know what you knew of
Since you said my love wasn't genuine I wanted to see TRUE LOVE
Quickly, before I knew it you took me after a kiss
I didn't know that when you said love truly you meant this
I couldn't see where I was going maybe love is blind
Or maybe this just wasn't the love that I had in mind
You had me on a journey somewhere I didn't want to be
I wished I could've turned around before we landed in ecstasy
Once our trip was over we both said good-bye
Now I loved you more as I gazed into your eyes
I asked when I'd see you again, you replied NEVER
I didn't understand I thought TRUE LOVE was forever
You walked out of my door days went by you didn't call
I realized what you'd meant by love after I'd given you my all
We didn't take any bags just ran and jumped on the boat
We went as we were no money, no coats
Although I came back with a package labeled DO NOT OPEN for a while
Meant for two, one in certain cases,in 9 months I'll have a child
I'll have a funny shape and my face will look silly
Because I decided to tour some unknown city
Three months have gone by, six, now nine
I love you innocent child - you're mine
You belong to me, your daddy doesn't even know
He's probably on a voyage claiming he loves her also
I wouldn't give you back for the world, sweet child I wouldn't have killed you
I promise to love you all the days of my life
Because my love is TRUE

Reason for writing:

women oft think they're in love, men claim to love to get sex
