Why did you do it You just couldnt resist You knew what would happen So why did you do it You know that I trusted you I gave you my all I wasnt that strong You thought I would fall You betrayed every trust I had in you I thought I would never have to hate you But you did it, you broke every trust I had in you Now can you please tell me , what did I do to you When you touched me it hurt You took all my pride I just couldnt stop you I cannot explain the hurt thats inside So why did you do it Was it for kicks Did everyone know Was it your own party trick
Reason for writing:
The reason for this poem and the inspiration for it, came from a friend of mines daughter who was sexually abused by her Stepfather. It stirred great emotion in me, I hope it does in you.
