Deep below the surface my mind will remain No one can ever remove the knowledge I retain Always in disagreement, my voice you wish to silence But your little wishes won't have my compliance Beneath the cold rock your intentions will lay Denying your investigation will have consequences to pay Overconfident and extremely routine Versus balance, varied, and always serene Follow the ducks and you will find a lake Try something different and it could be a fake Particular chances you may have to take Experience will result from the mistakes that you make The drive toward opposition is definitely strong But in agreement certainly isn't where you belong To find the correct balance is a dangerous feat Perhaps this is the link to making your life complete Fearful of changing so you follow the norm You see no problem with the tendency to conform Over time certain beliefs tend to expire You'd definitely change if it didn't ignite a fire Change is necessary Change can give light To a well-rehearsed belief Whose leash is too tight.
