Blind Love

by Nightmare³ - Not entered

#123
Tears come to her eyes,
As he casually walks away.
He says he'll be back,
Sure, maybe someday.

Days might drift by,
Weeks may as well pass.
And he takes his time,
Friendship slowly shattering like glass.

She's falling apart inside,
Away he's gently fading.
He's too blind to see this pain,
He can't see the heartbreak he's creating.

When, or if he appears,
She just can't ask questions.
It's something that can't be done,
Just something she can't mention.

Happiness fills them both,
At least for the time being.
The pain is hidden by her mask,
It's something he's just not seeing.

Then the time comes again,
When they have to separate.
For her it's something she can't deal with,
Times without him is worse than fate.

He casually walks away,
Casually tearing away her heart.
She cries inside herself,
Knowing how long they'll be apart.

Reason for writing:

Because love without commuication is Blind.
