Scatter Thought

by J L Rosa - Not entered

Sit down, enjoy the confusion
Dont mind me as I whisper a prayer to die
So sit down, enjoy the confusion
I'd join you but I would laugh until I would cry.

Sit down, witness my self destruction
See as the gears of my heart slowly stop and unwind
Sit down, hear the screams of my destruction
As I hope that unlike love, I am not blind.

Sit down, ponder an unanswerable question
Ask for what love really is and shoot a star
Sit down, answer the unanswerable question
Know what love is and Know how it and I are far.

So I think I will sit down,
Maybe begin to realize.
I think I will sit down
Begin the laughter from teary eyes.
I think I will lie down
Dream of times with you in loving vain.
I think I will not fall down
from your inadvertant hurt and pain.
I think I will just lay down...
