Firecracker

by Justin Roman - Not entered

Who's game? Eye-dart
Riled for some goodnatured blood-letting
   Unexplained hunger . . . . raw chicken
                                  Recreational Violence.
Muscle spasms shaken free
         Replace by shared bruises
               beautiful rich purple tone
a c l e a n s i n g s c r e a m
  Maybe two, for good luck.
A whipping lashing crashing burning
                                   u n w i n d . . .
        Settle under a tree
,shade flickering, cool breeze, dwindled sparks
And the unjust world fades to black . . . .
                                                       til morrow's morning.

Reason for writing:

Pent up in the house on my day off of work, listening to loud music, wanting to explode and relax like a firecracker.
